Our story

My name is Valentin. As a parent of young children, I created Le Minimaliste to meet a simple need: to find useful, safe, and easy-to-live-with objects, without accumulating.

At home, I observe what really matters: easy handling , simple gestures for the child, clear maintenance for the parent. Here, each product is chosen for real use : going to school, snack time in the park, playing quietly in the bedroom, falling asleep with a soft light.

Le Minimaliste is a small, independent boutique. I select little, but carefully, and I explain the essentials: material , function , lifespan . Information (BPA-free, CE, etc.) is only indicated when verified by the brand.

Where did the idea come from?

As a parent, I've often found myself faced with too many options and too little concrete information. I've chosen a different path: fewer objects, more clarity , and descriptions that help you decide without pressure.

What you will find here

  • Objects that are used every day : school, bedroom, outings.

  • Selected materials and careful finishing.

  • Simple and verifiable information (compatibility, standards when they exist).

  • Simple photos to help you project yourself easily.

Our way of selecting

  1. Actual use
The product must be easy for the child (or with them) to use. Closure that does not jam, adjustable straps that stay in place , soft silicone that is easy to grip, soft, non-aggressive light .

  2. Materials & Safety
Priority to quality materials . We only indicate “BPA-free”, “CE”, “RoHS”, etc. if it is proven by the brand.

  3. Durability & maintenance
An object must last over time and be easy to maintain (simple instructions, avoiding breakage and premature wear).

  4. Clarity
Readable sheets, precise characteristics , without jargon.

What this means for you

  • Less hesitation : clear, usage-oriented information.

  • More autonomy for the child : simple gestures, reassuring reference points.

  • A lighter everyday life : objects that do what they are designed for .

Today and tomorrow

The Minimalist is growing slowly, with the desire to maintain this rhythm: short selection , constant demand , transparency on the information given. The objective remains the same: to help you equip your children with the essentials, without the superfluous .
